Afternoon of December 21: The Oregonlive web site is reporting that BN put some grain cars on the ground which has resulted in suspension of Cascades and Coast Starlight service in Portland. Amtrak web site says these trains plus Empire Builder are disrupted, but does not cite cause or predict remedies.
