I generally am not an Amtrak foamer,  but these reroutes were too special to ignore.

I saw two private cars (Private Varnish), one on each train. The California Zephyr was one but I did not get the name of the second (it was a business car type with an open vestibule). Can you tell me the name? Thanks.

Silver Solarium was the streamliner, and the Scottish Thistle was the heavyweight
