What is all this nonsense that I am hearing about the Coast Starlight being rerouted on or near April 27 down the Central Valley and over Tehachapi? I am getting calls from friends I haven't heard from in a while all out of breath about this. Anybody know what gives?

If this is true then someone get some pictures and would the reroute over techachapi be a bad thing? I know the passagers would love to see the trains snake around the turns
