Hi Al,

Does this timetable show the two new stops in California ? The Pacific Surfliner trains are now stopping at the Metrolink stations in Orange and Laguna Niguel/Mission Viejo, according to the Orange County Register. The service, part of the Rail 2 Rail program between Metrolink, Amtrak and Caltrans, began last Monday. Southbound trains 566, 578 and 592, and northbound trains 565, 567 and 573 are making stops at various times in both locations.

I can find no listing in the new timetable under "Amtrak Service Location" for an Orange or a Laguna Niguel.

Just yesterday I picked up my new (eff. Nov. 1) Amtrak System Timetable at Chicago's Ogilvie Center.

The timetable doesn't show the major goof of its Spring/Summer predecessor:  a route map whose numbers don't match the page numbers of the individual train schedules.

In fact, so far I've found nothing wrong in terms of typos.  Of course, this makes a contrarian like me somewhat apprehensive.

Have you found any typographical or layout errors in the Amtrak timetable?  If not, are there other things you don't like about the book that you think should be changed?

I will withhold comment as of now; I want to hear from you.

Thanks, al smalling
