Incline has multiple electrical failures most serious one apparent braking system not slowing cars when approching stations.

What is the likelyhood that what has failed is some of the ORIGINAL 150 year old components and no spares are on hand and the manufacturer has been out of business for over 100 years?

Well 2 weeks moved into 3 - 1/2 weeks but reopened Feb 10rg.
