The "Anoka County Union" newspaper has an article on page 15 of their 4 21 23 edition regading North Star service. No baseball specials from Big Lake to Target Field Station will occur.
The whole North Star issue is up in the air and a representative from the Metropolitan Council will attend the next county board meeting.
I don't know if North Star will continue or not. BNSF furnishes conductors and engineers with Met Council doing the maintenance at the Big Lake, MN facility.
