Not all of them, but Statler does have designs that are technically capable of 125mph (with appropriate engine and gearing choices). Much of the "safety" at that speed involves careful CEM design.

(You may recall that the SPV-2000 had a "150 mph variant" to go with the Carter Administration 150mph NEC rebuilding. As distant memory indicates, that was with the all-wheel-drive kits, but the "same" two 8V92TAs.)
Someone stated on another rail board that even though these cars have a max speed of something like 87 mph, they have the required engineering in place to be 125 mph capable if Stadler wanted to go that way with just minor modifications. Anyone know if this is true?
They do make the Stadlers as Electric or Diesel, no idea if Hybrid is available though.
