As native Chicagoans and longtime "Chicago Fire" devotees, Lynn and I enjoy trying to establish the locations of the scenes, many of which are in her old neighborhood (near Cermak and Western).  The scene in question was shot along the IC tracks east of Michigan avenue near Van Buren St.  The Art Institute has a covered walk just north of the shooting location which now serves as the beginning of the tunnel (formerly open-air) which leads to Randolph Street Station.

The daily commute is part of everyday life but I get two rides a day out of it. Paul

Fire House 51 responded to a motor vehicle accident in tunnel on the show that aired 1/5 or 1/6th. What was the address or cross streets of the METRA/NICD yard. Nice looking shots of commuter equipment form each agency.

As information, I have not heard any information on the future of North Star. They have only two trips down and two up with no Twins or Vikings specials.
