Holiday Nostalgia Train on Sundays Between Thanksgiving and New Year's!

On the first two weekends, Dec 1 and Dec 8, the Holiday Train will operate its northbound trip from Second Avenue on the F/M route one station stop to Broadway Lafayette.  After leaving that station, the train will switch tracks and arrive at West 4 Street on the A/C and E level of the West 4th Street station and proceed north on the local track that carries the C and E line trains to 14 Street/8th Avenue station and northward under 8th Avenue following the C line to 59 Street Columbus Circle, and then onward on the A and D line to 125th Street and 8th Avenue.  There, the train will discharge all passengers and operate to a turn-back track in the tunnels between stations and head south under 8th Avenue, this time following the D line to 59 St and turning east to 7th Avenue and 53rd Street then south under 6th Avenue to 47-50 Street Rockefeller Center and operate on the D line to Broadway Lafayette Street after which it would follow the F and M line for one more station down to  its terminus at Second Avenue and Houston Street.  On the last 3 weekends, the Holiday Train will operate in both directions from Second Avenue/Houston Street under 6th Avenue and operate all the way up to the 145 Street / 8th Avenue station before returning south..

SCHEDULE

On December 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd, and 29th, the Nostalgia Train departs 2nd Avenue on the uptown F line in Lower Manhattan at:

• 10 am
• 12 pm
• 2 pm
• 4 pm

On December 1st and 8th, the Nostalgia Train will depart 125th Street on the downtown A line at:

• 11 am
• 1 pm
• 3 pm
• 5 pm

On December 15th, 22nd, and 29th, the Nostalgia Train will depart 145th Street on the downtown D line at:

• 11 am
• 1 pm
• 3 pm
• 5 pm

Nostalgia Ride  HOLIDAY NOSTALGIA TRAIN Sundays, December 1st - 29th   Departing from 2nd Avenue on the F line Free with the swipe of your MetroCard!    Holiday Nostalgia Rides are back! This year, we continue the beloved tradition with our 1930s R1-9 cars placed in service every Sunday between Thanksgiving and New Year's. The Nostalgia Train will depart 2nd Avenue on the F line in Lower Manhattan at 10am, 12pm, 2pm, and 4pm.
