Fort Worth to Dallas - Trinity Railway Express Cab View

This is mostly the former Rock Island between Fort Worth and Dallas.    The train starts at Texas and Pacific Station in Fort Worth, Second stop is Intermodal station where Amtrak stops, the switch that has a track that crosses the platform on the right at Intermodal Station is so the Amtrak Heartland Flyer can switch over to the BNSF Oklahoma City line which is partially elevated at Intermodal station and so the track also climbs after crossing the platform as the train heads North.     The Texas Eagle uses the same route as the TRE train in the video.

The camera makes it look like a rough ride but actually it is pretty smooth and I have no idea why this particular train is moving so slow.    Video doesn't do the ride justice just including it so folks can see the route.
