Yes, they're using it in Ottawa on the new light-rail line which is also almost finished. Still a lot of work to do there, but K-W is done.

Catenary as opposed to direct suspension is becoming more common for the overhead.  It allows for a more level contact wire.

Is almost finished. I was there today, the tracks look to be done, the wiring (German style catenary and not simple streetcar overhead) and the platforms are finished. It has curbside running, middle-of-the-street running and some in mixed traffic. At the north end in Waterloo it runs on a re-purposed freight line. There are signs saying that trains are being tested, I didn't see any so I guess they're waiting for Bombardier to build them.
