Sound Transit includes Sounder suburban trains, two light rail routes, and a fairly sizable network of suburban and express bus routes.  Those ridership figures are probably for the entire system.

The daily commute is part of everyday life but I get two rides a day out of it. Paul

Sounder is still primarily a rush-hour-only operation with no off-peak service.  Some counter-flow runs are probably repositioning of equipment that will handle passengers.  They have a way to go before the point of diminishing returns is reached.

In related news for SEA   ---  On Sounder the south line is getting another round trip that will be mid day.  Sounder increased ridership 15% over last year.  Wonder if there is a point of diminishing returns ?  evidently not hit yet.

More reports of increases almost too much to believe.  No wonder the people of Seattle are voting for increasing Link further.  The Sounder commuter rail also increased almost 15%.

Sound transit announces that the Link light rail latest extesion has increased daily weekday boardings nearly 80 %.  This may be a tipping point for network theory to come in ?
