The sad part is two people in the hospital with serious injuries.

I had a feeling that eventually something bad would happen there. Inexplicably the two crossings along Exposition just east of Vermont have little protection, just a small flashing light, not sure about bells. IMO both crossings should be closed.

At any rate, it's bound to become a major cluster between Metro, City of LA Public Works, victims advocacy groups, injured parties lawyers and politicians. Get out the easy chair and popcorn!
