The Route of the Broadway Lion The Largest Subway Layout in North Dakota.
Here there be cats. LIONS with CAMERAS
On the Flushing Line:
Munchists at Broadway Junction. The (C) Train
Also SF's 'J' Church, although not so short. Pttsiburgh's Fineview was the crown jewel though, and is still sorely missed. Jerusalem Light Rail is definitely a worthy contender.
I add my vote to calling Franklin Ave shuttle "picturesque". It, and Boston's Mattapan-Ashmont shuttle, packs a lot of varied right of way in a short ride.

Photoshop... Nah! Too 'spensive.
LION uses Serif PhotoPlus X7
him uses all Serif products. Very good, nice prices.
ROAR
So Brother Elias, when you got your new copy of Photoshop Elements 12, did you spring for the combo pack that includes Premiere Elements? Can we expect you to now edit some video for inclusion for this site?
BTW, I should have guess the 242nd St #1 line terminal picture no matter what kind of image filtering you applied - I used that station quite a number of times in the mid-1980s.I was often amused at the time that on that short block of Broadway there were 3 bars, plus another one just a little ways up 242st - was it the Greenleaf maybe? I don't a recall at this late date - I see Bing denotes it as the Ibiza lounge now (heh, the d@@mn pizzeria in the middle of the block really is called Broadway Joe's - I always figured we just call it that cause we were lazy-@@$$$ students who couldn't be bothered to learn the real name...). Don't recall if the Terminal Bar was the Townies' bar or not (actually I never really drank much, but a few of my fellow engineering students sure did)
Easy one it is today.
IRT, BRONX:
The one with the station house is indeed 242nd VCP.
The one above is at the end of the (4) train.
It is the picturesque Franklin Shuttle.
Is that the Franklin Avenue RofW just north of Empire Blvd (formerly Malbone St.) or did you take a photo of a 4-track RofW and modify it to two-track?
Original:
Are you going to do an imitation of Monet's La Gare Saint Lazare at Coney Island?
I like number three, it's like "transit by Degas"!
Lion is back! Hooray!
Interresting. I guess if Vincent van Gogh had ever ridden the subway he's have come up with something similar to Number Three!
The second picture is either Woodlawn-Jerome or Pelham Bay Park. Definitely northern end of an IRT "subway on viaduct" in TA language or just plain elevated.
