There's no humor in that accident, but in my Military Police training, the only justification for using your weapon was self- preservation, but, that in an infantry op', all bet's were off the table..
What was the urgency to grasp and prepare to use your weapon in this place?

SAN FRANCISCO -- A Bay Area Rapid Transit police officer was accidentally shot and killed by a partner Tuesday while conducting a probation search at a Dublin apartment complex, authorities said.
