Shaggy is just above Broadway Lion's nose, directly above the left nostril (for one looking at him).

Shaggy LION is at the controls in the motorman's cab.

As a matter of fact, no, he is not on the train.

Shaggy LION is at the controls in the motorman's cab.

The daily commute is part of everyday life but I get two rides a day out of it. Paul

The Brighton Line again.  The flower at Avenue H, and the modeled building at Cortelyou Road.   Now I will have to retrace my steps on this thread for another HO gauge front-window train ride .  Or will you post an advanced and improved copy soon?

This one will have to do for both HO and 1:1. Yes, You bound Broadway LION, (from a publicity photo for the bored of directors) but Shaggy LION is hiding somewhere on the frame.

First picture: Lion is to the left of the window, where the slope above the round window connects with the slope of the other part of the roof.

Second picture: Lion is to the left of the leftmost graffiti on top of the white wall. Nice modeling!

Lion is on flower at top left of photo. Lion, look out when the next train comes through, the breeze could knock you off!

Oh. There he is.

The letters appear to be "TK" but that isn't an IRT chain code. What are they?

I can give you guys some bonus credit for an interesting discussion, but nope, you found no LION so no new picture for you today.

The LION is riding on the tip of the windshield wiper. (The people over at SubChat *did* find the LION!)

Since 6325 is an R142, this is on an A division line. I can't read the letters telling which line, so I can't figure out where this is.

37.00 miles from where?

The subway does not measure in miles. It measured distance by CHAIN LENGTHS, the chains in this case being 100' long. So this place would be 3700 feet or a little over a half a mile from "Chain Zero" on this line.

Here is all you need to know abut chaining.

Yes. Quite intentional. Others did not pick up on that.

At first, I thought 2nd Avenue. But then I saw the 7. Looking forward to Lion exploring the new trackage!

Are you there or do you have that long a lens from ND?  I thought only Mayor Blumberg had ridden that far!

That is a train arriving from Manhattan (being on the upper level, so clearly the sign refers to the stairway down to the lower level where Manhattan bound train arrive. Still, the sign could be arranged more carefully.
