St.Paul Mn to Stillwater?
Posted by Boyd on Wednesday, March 6, 2013 6:42 PM

Anyone from around here or who has followed our light rail program,,, they are in high gear in their efforts to expand. I think it was from a recent newspaper article they showed a dozen or so approximate routes out from the hub. I saw two going out towards Stillwater. One looks to follow the Gateway trail and then go onto the former Zephyr line which is almost done being removed. This route would bring it in through the north end of Stillwater. The other route looks to follow along I-94. Has anyone seen any specific drawings for this? A third route "might" be along the UP line going south of Stillwater. That line used to be double tracked and as we know freight RR don't like to share tracks with passenger trains.
