Any update on SEPTA's Silverline V cars?

they are all heading to a scrap dealer in newark for $2, 300 a piece . for those interested the last 2 sl 2 and 3 in service will be on the cynwd line this friday evening on the last train out and back . they will be taken oos afterwards.

I was on 95 today and saw a string of older Silverliners in Woodbourne yard.   Looks like these are retired MU's.  Anyone know the disposition?  Where they came from and where they are headed?

SEPTA 731 Single car sighted at Edgewood Road Crossing at 1503 Eastern Inbound on West Trenton line.

rr.net tells me married pair 861-862 and single 731 has been delivered. 702 is at Rotem for a retrofit.

So if they have been coming in in order, they owe us 27 cars + #702.

As of 4-20-12 we had 89 (out of 120) Silverliner V vehicles in our active fleet status and only 12 Budd SLIIs and only  2 St. Louis SLIIIs left in active status.
