You were riding either a D or a B going from Manhattan to Brooklyn, and looking south with the Brooklyn Bridge clearly in view, as well as an occasional  N and/or Q train on the south side pair of tracks.

 

Quiz question for you:   Which subway line with letter or number stops at two stations with the exact same name but refering to very different locations?    You should be able to answer this question.
