The cars they're getting for the commuter rail are the same model as the Silverliner V's (I say same model, because I highly doubt that Denver will call them Silverliners) that SEPTA is currently getting from Hyundai-Rotem. The only difference is that Denver's cars will be high-level only to comply with ADA (SEPTA's cars have high and low level doors due to having both types of platforms).
Hopefully, Rotem can get their act together before they start delivering Denver's cars. Cause we all know that SEPTA's order has been anything BUT smooth...

When I was a kid, I remember the light rail was only between Littleton and downtown, plus a route to Denvers Union Station. Then, when I was in middle school, they built the light rail in the highway to Lincoln station, with an extension to nine mile station. now, im a teenager and they're expanding with the sixth avenue light rail. Plans are being made to construct a commuter train between Denver Union Station and the airport. many other commuter routes are on the way, three of which will be Electric multiple units while one is diesel multiple units. Ten years since it began and they're just getting started..
