Hear Ye, Hear Ye !

All you folks around Austin that have doubted the Cap MetroRail the service starts a week from tomorrow !

I urge all of you that riding the train would benefit, or at least live in an area that is serviced by it and work downtown to TRY IT ! Once we get the start up bugs worked out like a count of how many will use it and how many trains we need on a daily basis this will be the best thing since sliced bread ! I kid you not...

Saturday, when I came to a training session I got to Austin about 9:30am and traffic was moderate to heavy,On Sat morning mind you ! It appeared to me that a WHOLE lot of people drive into town from the north..Folks,I would be afraid to try and navigate Austin Frwys during weekday rush hour ! This new train will be the only way to fly once people get used to it and only drive to and from a park and ride..Think about it !

No stress on mess...Its got to be better than driving everyday in Austin traffic...My 2 cents

We will see. When it starts Hot Dog. This daytime soap has to be seen as a demostration of how you go about giving light rail a very bad name by doing everything possible to delay its opening and cause massive cost over runs.?

I did nt say it had,I said it will be a good thing when it starts,Next Mon is the BIG DAY as far as it stands right now,I may be wrong but will know by this coming w/end ! True it has suffered Murphy's Law (What can go wrong will go wrong) but all we can do is go fwd, theres no turning back now...With Herzog running it now,I dont think the mistakes  made will happen again...
