Dallas Area Rapid Transit

I had the opportunity to ride the DART rail Red Line from Plano, TX, to downtown Dallas this week.  This is the first time that I've ridden DART, and I must say that I was impressed.  Free parking at the Park and Ride, clean trains, courteous staff, and the convenience to my downtown conference made the two round trips that I made enjoyable.  I also noted the extensive Green Line construction with other routes to follow.

I think DART has it together when it comes to light rail,I only wish the commuter rail could expand to outlying areas...

DART is, indeed, an impressive system.  Now, if you want to be disappointed, ride the Houston system - poorly conceived and poorly designed.
