Here is the latest news in the news that I could find:

http://www.metro.us/philadelphia/local/article/1123614--new-septa-trains-finally-arriving

As of 4-20-12 we had 89 (out of 120) Silverliner V vehicles in our active fleet status and only 12 Budd SLIIs and only  2 St. Louis SLIIIs left in active status.

Here is a link to the bid tabulation for the Sale of Silverliner II & III Passenger Railcars:

rr.net tells me married pair 861-862 and single 731 has been delivered. 702 is at Rotem for a retrofit.

So if they have been coming in in order, they owe us 27 cars + #702.

I was on 95 today and saw a string of older Silverliners in Woodbourne yard.   Looks like these are retired MU's.  Anyone know the disposition?  Where they came from and where they are headed?
