Many Canadian elevators have been acquiring their own locomotives for switching, and new facilities are being constructed with loops.  645-engined EMD's are of course the most common, but the Cargill facility in Viking, Alberta managed to find a good condition C30-7:

Most "super elevators" out here remain in their original configuration, with multiple tracks and winches to move cars.  They are a pain to switch, with the worst probably being Alberta Terminals in central Edmonton (the former Government grain terminal).  It takes a 100+ car spot, and the longest track holds 12 cars...

Greetings from Alberta

This ex- Southern Pacific unit is looking mighty fine with a bold new paint scheme and a nice setting along the wheatfields and open skies of the prairies down south from me.
