Here is a guidance to posting photos on the Model Railroader forum: http://cs.trains.com/mrr/f/88/t/249194.aspx
It is a sister to this here and uses the same software.Regards, Volker
Easy to post a photo ... but you have to have the photo 'hosted' on a site that provides its location as an Internet URL. It does not matter if you go via one of the 'free' hosting services or provide your own, but the image has to be accessible to the Web before it can be displayed here. There is no upload; there is no caching.
Once you know the URL that points to the image you want to display, put the cursor in the post text box where you want the image to appear. Just above the text entry window, you will see little icons of a chain, a mountain, and a frame of film. Click the 'mountain', and the image tool will open; paste the URL in there and all the rest will be done automagically for you when you confirm.
FLMike52 I need some help identifying the pictured brass plate. It belonged to my deceased father was was an avid rail fan. I believe it may have come from a Shay or Climax but not sure. Any help would be appreciated, thank you.

404. That’s an error.
The requested URL was not found on this server. That’s all we know.
Actually I can't even find a simple way to delete a post.
