I saw a photo of two on the CN, so maybe they picked up a couple (CN is also leasing other units through Progress Rail). Of course that could just be run through power.

No, Neither BNSF or UP have leased the former CSX SD70ACe’s from Progress Rail. 10 are leased to NS currently and 4 to an isolated iron ore line that just reopened up in Quebec. The 5 remaining units will go to NS on lease if/when necessary repairs are complete. The one you saw in Barstow is just run through/pool power from NS,nothing more.

Has either UP or BNSF started to lease the ex-CSX Sd70Aces. I just saw one today at Barstow. And from what I can gather the unit has headed WEST from Wisconsin. The only railroad that I know has leased the is Norfolk Southern.
