As I stated in my earlier post, the y are stored in Altoona, Pa untill needed.
caldreamerSince they were heading west, they could be goingto Altoona to be stored untill needed once again.
Where does NS store their business car fleet? Locomotives for the fleet would normally be stored where the fleet gets stored.
Never too old to have a happy childhood!
cool catch, I've never seen any exec units, not even BNSF

THANKS! Seeing them and knowing what there are just made my day!
Must have been the Norfolk Southern Executive F Units for their business/ company officials train.
My office in Harrisburg overlooks the NS main (ex PRR) just West the Amtrak station. At about 4:30 PM today, 09/26/17, I spotted through the trees a NS unit pulling a classic string F units in an A-B-A set-up and nothing else heading West out of Harrisburg. The F's look to be black with white (?) or silver (?) classic F unit striping. While too far away, and too many trees, the RR name looked to be in gold. Any idea of what I sow and where they were headed?
