The Class 20's aren't that bad, they look like FM switchers scaled down to fit the UK clearance diagram.  But then, I've never seen an ugly diesel.

The daily commute is part of everyday life but I get two rides a day out of it. Paul

I thought the British Class 20's were ugly https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/British_Rail_Class_20,

but this locomotive model is in contention

If GM "killed the electric car", what am I doing standing next to an EV-1, a half a block from the WSOR tracks?

TRAINS Magazine says UP 3012 and 3014 are in the California area.

Below is a March 16, 2017 photo of southbound UP 3012 by Highway 138 in Cajon Pass in Southern California.

Have yet to hear engineer feedback, would be curious if anyone has ran one now that they are road worthy again.

Also, given EHHs antics of laying up old CSX units and doing more with less, I think we can safely rule out CSX as a buyer of these models anytime soon. Hope we get to see some on other roads shortly however, if I had to guess I imagine NS may be the next willing to buy a few. Given the market as a whole right now however, it doesn't seem many people are too excited to grab more power just yet.
