As far as I can tell from photos B&M GP7s never had tightlocks.  Even in MBTA service where they were MUed with RDCs (via an adapter cable) they had standard couplers.

What type of couplers were BM HEP equipped GP7s delivered with?  E or H type?  When did tightlock couplers become required for passenger service locomotives?
