They were already placed in service and both suffered mechanical failures while on BNSF and were shipped dead back to NS.

Does anyone know the cause, heritageunits.com says that their paired up in the shops for repairs? Thanks!

 

Conway is preparing them for service. Standard NS procedure.

I would opine that a certain amount of de-bugging may be in order due to the nature of the rebuilding.

The daily commute is part of everyday life but I get two rides a day out of it. Paul
