AMD-103 underway lighting characteristics
Posted by pamelapeterson on Friday, October 17, 2014 11:55 AM

In an effort to emulate the AMD-103 locomotives in my model railroad, I see this locomotive has three(3) sets of lights[Head, Ditch and Tail] on the front & two(2) sets of lights[Head & Tail] lights on th rear. When two(2) or more AMD-103s are multi-unit[mu] together, are all the lights on the trailing units, those after the head locomotive, turned off??? Anybody have any knowledge in this regards... Thanx in advance for reading and answering if you can share this knowledge. Respectfully Pamela F Peterson

The lighting of each locomotive is controlled in its cab. Only the leading locomotive has it lights on.
