I notice that the CN SD40s had a fuel fill pipe that was centrally located on the fuel tank (as opposed to on one side on all other SD40s). Anyone know why CN ordered them that way? The central location of the fill pipes required that the air reservoirs located above the tank be modified. Instead of the normal two (one on each side) the CN SD40s had four reservoirs (one short and one long on each side).
