On an ACe ,the inverter modules are located behind the air intakes on the conductors' side.

On the right side of both units, the air brake equipment is located beneath the cab. The same location on the left side offers access to the HVAC module.

There really aren't any, besides the road number and small lettering under the cab...

SD70M-2 and SD70ACe comparison
Posted by Oliver Vazquez on Friday, January 24, 2014 12:43 AM

Can anyone tell me what the differences between an SD70M-2 and a SD70ACe on the ENGINEERS SIDE (Right side) of the locomotive are, because I know that the SD70ACe has 2 long Air intakes on the electric box on the Conductor's side, and the SD70M-2 Doesn't.
