Hello,

The only easy way to tell an ACe from a M-2 is the electric box behind the cab. Since it is cheaper to standardize on one carbody, the only difference is that the SD70ACe has vents in this box:http://www.rrpicturearchives.net/showPicture.aspx?id=1546985, and the SD70M-2 doesn't:http://www.rrpicturearchives.net/showPicture.aspx?id=3343480. Road number also distinguishes them.

Hope this helps.
