I think that the Green and Cream Bonnet, looked Better than ANY of the green/orange "Heritage" schemes.
Too Me, the classic BN Cascade Green and Black, was the BEST looking scheme they ever had, I did prefer them without the white cab faces though.

eagle1030 narig01 Lyon_Wonder I just heard that BNSF 9647, the SD70MAC that was delivered in 1995 and painted in a one-of-a-kind green and cream warbonnet with "Burlington Northern Santa Fe" spelled out on the long hood, has been repainted into BNSF's standard orange paint. https://s3.amazonaws.com/HeritageUnits/Images/1318.jpg So the vomit bonnet paint scheme is now history. "vomit bonnet" It didn't have a politer nickname? I remember the blue and yellow "Freight Bonnet" or the shouldn't paint so fast kodachrome. Rgds IGN The vomit bonnet never deserved a better name.
