I've heard 2800 HP.

Also, they are not ECO rebuilds. They don't use the ECO skid. The original 12-710G3A prime movers are being upgraded to 12-710G3C-?? with EFI. The Split cooled Radiator changes are custom, not EMD. Intercooler is in the inertial filter box area with separate fan. Same as on their SD60E rebuilds.

Are they still rated at 3000 HP?

NS #4650 GP59E - rebuilt GP59

NS is rebuilding GP59s into GP59Es, which are going to be mated to RP-M4C slugs that are being rebuilt from GP50s (at the renaming high hood GP50s that weren't rebuilt into GP38-3s several yeas ago).

The GP59Es have a new cab and supposedly the 710ECO as well.
