With diesel I have always been fascinated with the Burlington shovel-noses and the slant-nose E5's. Freight diesel would have to be Rio Grande SD-40T2's.
I have to break down steam into both standard gauge and narrow gauge. The UP FEF-3's (like 844) are hard to beat. Then there are the Rio Grande K-28 "sport models" and RGS #20!
