Need Loco ID, Northern Pacific Lines 4185 Tie Clasp !

The locomotive is a Southern Pacific Cab Forward type of articulated and was a real prototype.

The Southern Pacific Lines lettering would be correct for that Cab Forward until 1946 when the Southern Pacific lettering was used after that time.

  It's not Northern Pacific.  It is a Southern Pacific class AC-8  'Cab Forward' engine.

Hi ALL!
I just found this very cool Tie Clasp @ the bottom of a box. I don't recognise the Loco, not a Big Boy, but looks afully big ! It's running Northern Pacific Lines, has the # 4185 . Was it real in it's time ?? Any info would be appreaciated !!
