sd7 union pacific question [trying again]

I have a model of SD7 UP n.775

I would like to know which was the official FORWARD hood in which this locomotive was run ?

Union Pacific ran their SD7s with the long hood forward. On page 132 of Cinthia Priest's "Union Pacific Diesel" shows an "F" painted on the long hood end of renumbered SD7 unit 457. There is a photo of 775 on the same page but it doesn't show an "F" on the long end.

The UP SD7s had full lights on both ends and could run in either direction but the long hood was designated the front.
