Norfolk Southern 1982 to Present Diesel Roster Summary page
Posted by NSDash9 on Saturday, May 14, 2011 5:29 PM

I have added a new roster feature to my NSDash9.com website covering all of the diesel motive power rostered by Norfolk Southern from 1982 through present day.  This is a general summary at this point, but will eventually expand to include unit-by-unit rosters for all of the locomotive series.  Here is a link for the new roster:

I also continue to maintain my other NS motive power rosters, which include:

A roster summary and detailed unit-by-unit rosters for all of the locomotives on the current NS active roster.  That roster can be found here:

NS is currently leasing over 200 locomotives from a number of sources.  A roster of the leased power can be found here:

A complete roster of the locomotives NS received from Conrail, along with the current paint scheme for all the active units.  NS currently has 93 units remaining on the active roster that remain in Conrail blue paint:

NSDash9, Chris:

You might find the following linked site of interest to you:

http://www.stb.dot.gov/recordations.nsf/RecordationNumberForm?OpenForm&Start=1&Count=300&Expand=7.8.4&Seq=14

If you scroll down towards the bottom of the pages:  There is a whole list of documents and information regarding the sale of NS RR diesels, lists engines sold with Trust information and BOL's.

Thought you might find it interesting.

stumbled into it when Googled:  DOT105J400W
