Chicago...Western 6433
Posted by DSH1 on Friday, May 6, 2011 9:16 AM

I saw last night (May 5), heading eastbound on CP into Toronto, in the middle of a 4 unit lashup, on what looked like mainly ethanol tank cars, a unit numbered 6433 in a new looking livery with a railroad name that included the words Chicago, and Western.

Could anyone help me identify the railroad owning 6433?

It should be IC&E SD40-2 6433. IC&E stands for Iowa, Chicago & Eastern. The IC&E is now part of CP's  Dakota, Minnesota & Eastern subsidiary.
