If you would like to keep the MT&W and TR around in their original forms, you can get models from Atlas in HO Scale, N Scale, and O Scale, if they are available.

I grew up in the 60s and 70s along track that lead to Kings dam. I like the original black and white version. The name MT&W is much classier than TR.
Honestly, my preference is for the black with white; my second choice is kind of a tie between your (original poster's ) favorite and the G&W. Truly, it's not that I'm in love with their paint scheme but it has 'high visibility' going for it. I would NOT like to see the second-listed choice, the lighter green. To be truthful, it made me feel ill when I pulled up the picture. (Sorry, I'm being honest!)
Good luck with your endeavors!

On August 14th, 2009 the Tomahawk Railroad MP1500 passed through Vicksburg, MI on its way East to be maintained and painted.

They could at least put a small, reflective Yellow & Orange TR decals on the box cars so they would be more visible.
Both the green/white and the G&W paint schemes are nice. I guess I would not be too concerned about paint schemes, and a lot more concerned about my single customer. If they move or go out of business, my railroad is up the creek without a paddle.
I see you profile lists a goal of becoming a BNSF employee in road service. Get ready for lots of time away from home, and lousy hours.

Modeling BNSF and Milwaukee Road in SW Wisconsin
Your post is hard to read.
Note: I Have A Habit With Capitalization I Have No Idea Why It Has Just Been A Habit I Have Had For Quite Some Time.
The Tomahawk Railroad Is A Four Mile Short Line Railroad From Northern Wisconsin With Seventeen Employees And Two Locomotives. The Tomahawk Railroad Is Owned By Genesee And Wyoming And Is The Smallest Railroad In Wisconsin And On The System For Genesee And Wyoming.
The Tomahawk Railroad Had Been Given More Than Five Different Paint Scheme In The Past From The Old Steam Locomotive Marinette Tomahawk And Western Railroad Logo (Predecessor) To The Current Nasty Genesee And Wyoming Paint Scheme Seen Every Where Nowadays.
Me And A Cousin Of Mine Who Is Close To Becoming A Millionaire Are Interested In Purchasing The Small Railroad For Approximately $250,000.00 To $500,000.00 Which The Railroad Would Service Daily The Packaging Corporation Of America Tomahawk Containerboard Mill With An Annual Carload Rate Of Around 7500 From Chemical And Coal As Well As Scrap Paper. Much Room For Proposed Expansion.
The Tomahawk Railway In My Opinion Is The Best Railroad There Is Not Seen By The Public Because Of Their Size And I Want To Bring It Public And Show The History And The Service Delivered From The Tomahawk Railroad As Well As Much More.
Now I Want To Know What Paint Scheme You Think Would Be Best For The Tomahawk Railway If Me And My Cousin Were To Purchase It. These Are Former And Present Paint Schemes Used For The Tomahawk Railroad:
http://donsdepot.donrossgroup.net/dr0105/jc11.jpg This Paint Scheme Was The First Used When The Tomahawk Railroad Began Operating Diesel Instead Of Steam. The Logo By The Window Stands For Marinette Tomahawk And Western Railway Which Had Been The Former Name Of The Tomahawk Railway In The Past.
http://donsdepot.donrossgroup.net/mtw62.jpg This Paint Scheme Was To Last Forever Until In The Late 1900's The Marinette Tomahawk And Western Was Purchased By Rail Management And Named Tomahawk Railway.
http://rides.webshots.com/photo/1438170887054327256WBGKBk This Is My Favorite Which I Would Intend To Use But I Want Your Opinion On What Is Best. The Past Two Listed Would Be Used For Something Like A Heritage Locomotive For Both Locomotives.
And FInally The Genesee And Wyoming Paint Scheme Which Is A Negative For Me:

Thank You And Please Choose Which Paint Scheme Should Be Used And If You Have Had Any Experience With The Tomahawk Railroad (Personal View From Railfan Point Of View) Please List What Your Experience Was Like.
Thank You Very Much And Please Do Not Note One Word About The Capitalization. I Know Already It Is Annoying And I Know It Might Be Hard To Read But I Would Only Write A Post Once Or Twice A Week So You Do Not Have To Worry About Reading Anything From Me On A Daily Basis Hahahaha!
