U.P. Heritage Units
Posted by oarb00 on Thursday, September 2, 2010 1:52 PM

I know this has been covered before, but seeing Union Pacific's heritage #2005 leading a freight Westbound through St. Paul made me wonder what others think is the best looking heritage unit, and why. The C&NW unit is my personal favorite as the Northwestern is the only one of the 6 to have operated into my original hometown of Rockford, Il. The WestPac unit is a close second.

The Heritage units have been very popular with railfans when heading up trains.

This web site has pictures of the Heritage units in service.
