The locomotive is at MAC in KC for painting, it received a cab off a scrapped UP locomotive.

BNSF GP60B #347 now GP60 with cab

GP60B BNSF #347 has been converted into a standard cab GP60.  Reportably it has a new road number as BNSF #170, which places it above the wide-cab GP60Ms.

BNSF's other former-ATSF standard-cab GP60s are numbered in the 8700s.  I wonder if the GP60B's original dynamic brakes were moved to the long hood too since the dynamics would need relocating to make room for the cab?  I don't think any photos of this converted GP60 have showed up on the net yet.
