They have existing orders with the price set -they do not want to loose the price or delivery time frame. The older engines going into storage are not as fuel efficient as the new one, and with the depessed economy; are not in high demand in the used market. It makes sense to just keep them stored servicable. On the used market, hey are worth little more than scrap right now.
