Two of the 4 that made it to Mexico are back in the US now.  At least one of the remaining two in Mexico was 'stuffed & mounted'; and the other may hve been restored. Of the two back in the US; one is going to the Smithsonian, and the other will be kept by by a private party.

Interesting video...looks like some commercial stuff from 10-20 years ago

Great videos.  Is the prime mover original (rebuilt)?

Can anyone tell me how to save  videos on "YOU TUBE and Photobucket" on my hard drive?

The PA's that went to Mexico were all rebuilt with 251 engines while they were still on D&H.

What happened to those NYC 4-8-4 S-1 Niagaras that allegedly went to Mexico?

I don't know if any NYC Niagaras went to Mexico, but the NdeM called its 4-8-4s Niagaras and they were a lot smaller than the NYC ones, so they couldn't be the same.  You might be thinking of those.  There could have been some NYC ones sent there too though.

If you're thinking of the QR-1 4-8-4's that were the last big steam in Mexico, they were bought new by NdeM.
