MS has canceled MSTS II.

In my experience, the light at the end of the tunnel is usually the train.

On my friends MS Train Sim, you had certain routes that no matter what you just couldn't get the train all the way across.  I wouldn't worry about it compared to the real world too much.

One question,

I was runnin' an intermodal train on the Cajon Pass today. I would damage the freight it seemed like every time I moved the throttle, and don't even get me started on the air! This really frustrates me, beacause I am going to become an engineer one day and I don't want to damage freight. Is this the game or me. Is this really realalistic? What can I do to better controll the train?

I run MSTS with a lot of added features such as MSTS Bin (game enhancement), Xtracks, and Newroads

Also I tend to use add on routes, since the originals are neither good, nor perfect. For instance, in the original NEC, there's a lot of absent speed restrictions. Also some of the latest lines I've installed are really great and explore the game's engine, wich dates back to 2001, to its maximum possibilities. I'm also starting to work in both route, rolling stock and consist building

I have MSTS, Trainz, Trainz 2004, Trainz 2006, Sid Meiers Railways, Rail Simulator, Railroad Tycoon 2, Railroad Tycoon 3.

Hey speaking of RailSimulator. I installed the game the first day I got and it ran. I downloaded a sound pack to the game but I didn't like it so I uninstalled it so I could get rid of it. I reinstalled the game and come to the password screen. After I hit next after the password screen it goes blank. It dosen't install.

Can someone help me on this?

I have Microsoft Train Simulator with the RailDriver control stand.  I also have a ton of downloads that I'm trying to get organized.

The problem with my friends' MSTS is that you can never complete a run. Inevitably a train will break in two or derail for no reason.  Just seems to happen almost every time, at least on the long routes.

A friend has the MS Train Simulator we use occasionally, though it has a few glitches.  It was a lot more fun with the control stand accessory, his new computer couldn't get it to be compatible though so it was back to the keyboard.

I run MS Train Simulator and Trainz 2006 for sims. I also play Sid Meiers' Railroads which is a fun game in the strategy genre although is prone to crashing.
