According to the website Canadian Railway Observations the cab from wrecked CN C44-9W #2584 has been sold to CEECO in Tacoma Washington for use in repairing damaged UP AC4400CW #6759.

As CN fans know, the GE widecab design was modified on CN units with a different windshield design that was quite similar to the windows on GMs Whisper Cab. This means that unless CEECO modifies the windows this unit will be a one of a kind on the UP roster and likely quite a catch for photographers!
Even if they replace the windows, the nose is still a different shape to standard to accommodate the differently shaped windows. They won't change that unless they are crazy! Even with standard windows the loco should be recognisable with the two extra panels on top of the nose.

Look's very awkward. Nevermind the look's, was anone hurt? Hope not! Both the UP and BNSF unit behind it look very bad. At least it isn't being scrapped though.

The 6759 was involved in a collision with another train near Derby Kansas on Dec 17th 2007, luckly the crew survived. Here is a link to some more photos of this unit.
