It's nice to historical things taken care of instead of rusting away on the back tracks of a museum.

That is a very fine picture of a well kept engine. Yea I see the new appliances required for today's training (Pardon the pun) but overall, Im pleased it is in good condition.

Saw this in Petersburg West Virginia Monday.

She sure is pretty. And in good mechanical condition. I asked a member of the crew if I could visit the cab...wow, clean and neat as a pin! The South Branch Valley Railroad owns this engine, and run her in the original paint scheme.  The Governor of the state was to visit, and this was set up as a special run for him. The two stainless passenger cars are owned by them also, and are in good condition too.  Can you imagine, a B&O passenger Geep in as delivered paint..and in excellent condition!
