It's the same here on CN. Flat yard beltpacks operate with a foreman and helper. However hump yard beltpacks only have a foreman.

Think ive heard of some of those trim jobs being one man RCL jobs.

 I am lost one man operations?Who does that and how do you protect your movements?But anyway no same rules 24/7. We have  a foreman and helper with our jobs.One (helper) sits on the motor foreman does the ground work.

  We had a good pile up of remotes here in the yard the other day. Funny no mention of it in offical circles lol. Kinda like the Wizard of Oz "Pay no attention to the wreck on the lead "

 After reading Awsome,s  question i was wondering about night time operation of RC units.  With one man operation is night operation goverened by different rules?
